The Church of the Living God, the Pillar and Ground of the Truth of Los Angeles began with a small group of Christians who met in the home of the late Bell Graves, located at 2160 Compton Avenue in Los Angeles. At that time, the group consisted of women who gathered to discuss the organization of the church.
